Men and women are spiritual beings. The physical bodies that are the focus of so much attention in our world are really just containers for the “real you.” Realizing that you are a spirit made in God’s image is the first step to possessing victory in the spiritual warfare that is going on in your life.
You must realize that God has made you a superior spiritual being. Since you were fashioned in God’s image, you have the capacity to dominate your surroundings as He does His.
Under-standing this will build confidence in your spiritual strength and the skills that you possess for all of life’s victories. You are a champion. You can’t lose!
Father, since I am created in Your image and likeness, may my life today reflect Your glory to those around me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that Your power may flow through me. Thank you for the victory over the enemy and the strength I possess in my inner being.
