Dare to Believe: Week Twenty-three

by Jim Hockaday

All of us are living under the death sentence of aging. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:16 that while the outer man is decaying the inner man is being renewed day by day. No matter how long we live, one day our life on this earth will come to an end. Looking back, the question will be what we have done with the time we have been given.

The only true cure for our mortal bodies is redemption. As we learn to fellowship in the eternal life of God, where immortality abides, we can in-crease our time on the earth.

Our bodies are growing older; however, we can live in the power of God’s presence. Learning to enjoy God’s cure for sin, sickness and disease will increase your longevity.

“Father, thank You that because Jesus arose from the dead, I have hope of eternal life. I ask that You will help me to live today in that hope where I can begin experiencing the power of Your immortality. I am extremely thrilled that my inner man is being renewed day by day. Everything in my life is affected by this truth.”
